🏆 Announcing the Playmakers’ Choice Award Winners! 🏆
Over 2,000 votes are in. And, here are your winners.
We know that great basketball moments deserve to be celebrated, and that’s exactly what the Playmakers’ Choice Awards are all about. The best part? These winners were chosen by YOU, the community of players, coaches, their families and fans who love the game.
After weeks of nominations and voting, we’re excited to announce the first-ever Playmakers’ Choice Award winners!
Please check out a special appearance by friend of SportsVisio, Duncan Robinson:
🏀 Play of the Year: Jon Jean, UCD Marian
Jon Jean delivered a ridiculous, game changing moment, sending the defender scrambling with a smooth crossover and step-back three in a crucial game against Ballincollig. We’ve seen him do this all season, but this play was next level and you all loved it.
🔥 Player of the Year: Jose Zaragoza, Ultimate Hoops
Jose Zaragoza is a true legend of the adult game in California—and he’s proving that age is just a number. At 51, he’s still outscoring and outplaying younger competition, dropping over 580 points across 55 games last year. Ultimate Hoops is lucky to have a sharpshooter like Jose keeping the “Never Retire” mentality alive!
🏆 Player of the Year: Morgan Lenahan, Trinity Meteors
Morgan Lenahan is the heartbeat of the Trinity Meteors, bringing her New Jersey grit and elite playmaking to the Irish Super League. Averaging 17 points and 6 assists per game, she’s not just leading her squad—she’s inspiring the next generation of players with her intensity and focus.
🚀 Huge congratulations to Jon, Jose, and Morgan for their incredible seasons! These awards are about recognizing game-changers, and all three of you have set the bar high.
Big thanks to everyone who voted and nominated—this is just the beginning! Let’s keep celebrating the players who make the game special. Look out for monthly top plays coming later in February.
