Lens 14: Happy New Year from SportsVisio
From the team at SportsVisio, we wish you a year filled with growth, more wins than losses, and incredible highlights.
As 2024 winds down, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support. It's been a big year!
Together, we’ve achieved new milestones transforming sports analytics with cutting-edge AI that helps players, coaches, and leagues unlock their potential. We added over 100 leagues and welcomed more than 10,000 new parents, players, scouts, and coaches. We’ve analyzed over 7,000 games across all age groups from all around the world. We loved seeing SportsVisio put in play beyond the US, with teams and leagues in Ireland, Spain, Canada, Australia, Argentina, Mexico, England, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Greece, New Zealand, Japan and Denmark.
Each game unlocks new possibilities for your growth and enjoyment - accurate stats, game summaries, badges, posters, clips you can share, AR fireballs, and automatic highlight reels to relive the action.
As we turn the page to 2025, we’re excited to take things to a new level. We’re focused on making your basketball experience even more fun: faster turnaround times, leaderboards, more stats, new badges and posters for all of your achievements, an advanced analytics suite for coaches, and much more. Don’t forget… the Playmakers’ Awards will be announced in late January.
From the team at SportsVisio, we wish you a year filled with growth, more wins than losses, and incredible highlights. Let’s make 2025 a year to remember!
Onward.

To close out the year, we wanted to share one of our favorite stories about a league in Canada.
A League Reimagined: How SportsVisio Elevated Southern Alberta Hoops Hub League
In the heart of Southern Alberta, a small group of basketball enthusiasts started playing pickup games in Spring 2022.
Fast forward to Fall 2024, and the Southern Alberta Hoops Hub League has grown into a thriving community with seven teams, a podcast, and a reputation as the go-to league for recreational basketball players in the region.
The driving force behind this transformation? The integration of SportsVisio’s AI-powered stats and highlights.

Southern Alberta Hoops Hub in Action
Initially, the league was simply about camaraderie and a love for basketball. Players appreciated the tight-knit community and positive culture, but as the league grew, so did its ambitions.
Players were staying up late after games, manually tagging stats from game footage. While this enthusiasm was inspiring, it highlighted a glaring gap: how could the league provide professional-grade stats and highlights without sacrificing its grassroots charm or exceeding its budget?
Founder Kendell Weins explored options, including manual stat tracking and other software platforms, but the cost and complexity made these solutions impractical.
