Lens 16: The Future of Basketball is Being Rewritten—And We’re Here for It

How Unrivaled is Redefining the Game and Why SportsVisio is Powering the Future of Basketball.

Unrivaled’s Bold Vision: A New Era for Women’s Basketball

When I watched Unrivaled’s, debut on Jan. 17, I knew we weren’t just witnessing the launch of a new league—we were watching the founders take a bold shot at redefining the future of 3×3 basketball.

For too long, the game has evolved athletically but stayed stagnant structurally. Unrivaled is breaking that cycle. This isn’t just another 3x3 league for WNBA players to stay sharp, and relevant, in the offseason. They didn’t copy-paste FIBA’s format. They rethought everything.

Full-court instead of half-court. Their rulebook instead of an inherited one.

Faster play. More space. More flow.

It’s not an adjustment—it’s a statement.

This is how every major shift in basketball happens. The three-point line was a gimmick—until it wasn’t. The Elam Ending was experimental—until it made endgames better. Unrivaled is proving that elite women’s basketball can thrive outside old frameworks.

Unrivaled and SportsVisio are operating from the same mindset: Forget how things have always been done. Ask what the game could be. Then build it.

Basketball is a living, breathing culture. It evolves, it reinvents itself, and right now, we’re watching its next transformation.

Unrivaled is proving that women’s basketball belongs in the spotlight year-round. SportsVisio is proving the same spotlight, stats, and highlights, can be available for everyone.

We’re not here to wait for change. We’re here to make it happen.

Kobe’s Legacy Lives Everywhere in LA

Los Angeles doesn’t just remember Kobe Bryant—it immortalizes him. From Venice Beach to downtown alleys, his presence looms large, painted across hundreds of murals that capture his intensity and love for the game.

These murals aren’t just tributes—they’re reminders. Of the work ethic. The obsession with excellence. Kobe’s influence didn’t fade when he left the court. It’s still here, woven into the culture of basketball, street art, and the city itself.

We miss you Kobe.
