Lens 32: Basketball Season is Upon Us

Welcome hoopers. League’s back.

The new season is here. Fresh courts and clean kicks. There’s that first-game excitement you just can’t fake. Whether you’re lacing it up, coaching, or just keeping tabs on your crew, this is where the grind starts.

It’s a good reminder to check out the recently refreshed SportsVisio app, claim your profile, update your photo, and make sure you’re following your team and tracking your season.

Stats mean something more when you can watch them grow.

App Tip of the Week

We want you to get the most out of our app. It’s massively helpful if you claim your profile and follow the teams that you play on. This ensures that you get alerts when your games are processed and ready.

Here’s a quick tutorial.

1. Hit our Explore button in the bottom left of the screen and find your team or league.

2. Navigate to find yourself.

3. In the top right corner, hit the claim profile button. And upload your picture while you are at it.

4. If you want to follow a team, you can go the team page and hit the “follow button.”

NBA Expansion?

As a longtime suffering SuperSonics fan, I’ve always expected that the team returns. Someday. Right?! Come on commish.

A new season means new highlight reels — and we’ve already seen some serious ones on Instagram. Big plays from players who clearly didn’t take the summer off.

Sneak of the Week

New season, new soles. We’re seeing some hot drops and fresh rotations on the floor already. Always tough to pick one, but let’s look at Nike’s Giannis Freak 7.

The Freak line keeps it moving, and Freak 7 is all power meets precision. Lighter, better feel, and a traction pattern for players who stop, spin, and explode. Expect to see a lot of these hit the court.

If you’re testing something new, show us. Nothing better than seeing what players are actually playing in (not just what’s sitting in the box).
