Where the Game Never Stops.
There's a kind of basketball that doesn't need a packed arena or a national TV deal to matter. It needs a gym, a crowd that knows the game, and players who love to compete.
That's the DNA of the pro-am. It's been shaping American basketball culture for fifty years.
The Drew League was founded in 1973 in South LA. Kobe ran on that court. So did LeBron, Durant, and Paul George. Not for money. Not for television. They came because the competition was real.
Rucker Park in Harlem has been running since the 1950s. Kareem played there as a teenager. Earl "The Goat" Manigault was mentored by Holcombe Rucker himself and went on to become a folk hero on that asphalt.
These weren't pickup runs. They were institutions.
The tradition lives on, and it’s spread.

Virginia Hoop League — Virginia Beach, VA
"Only The Strong." Season 16.

Ballers Lab League — Miami, FL
Miami's premier women's semi-pro. 120+ athletes. Two divisions.
Founded in 2020 to elevate women in sport. Ballers Lab brings together the most dynamic women's basketball talent in South Florida every summer. We just profiled their success in a case study.
More than 120 women now receive full game film and individual highlight reels through SportsVisio. For many of them, it's the first real footage they've ever had to share with family. That's not a small thing.
303 League — Denver, CO
Colorado's #1 pro-am. WNBA-led. Twelve teams.
Colorado's top basketball pro-am. Founded in 2022. Led by a WNBA champion with nine years of professional experience overseas. Twelve teams. A community mission. Mentorship, opportunity, and the game.
This is one of the most credible new pro-ams in the country, and we're welcoming them to the SportsVisio family this summer.
Got Game Summer League — Dublin, Ireland
The pro-am tradition just crossed the Atlantic.
Ireland's first true summer pro-am tips off late June. Two divisions running across north and south Dublin. Top talent from the Irish Super League and National League stepping on the floor for the inaugural season.
Same blueprint as the Drew, the Rucker, and every great pro-am that has come since. Draft day is this weekend.
These summer leagues build their legacy on word of mouth.
Today's leagues have something special: every game is documented, every stat tracked, every highlight delivered, and the historical leaderboards add something new to every game.
It's not about replacing what made pro-ams great. It's about giving them tools that match the level of basketball they've always played.
For the operators, that means running a media-forward league without a media department. For the players, it means a highlight reel after every game, an honest box score, and a record of what actually happened on the court.

Jalen Brunson — Nike Kobe 4 Protro "Draft Day" PE
Brunson dropped 33 in Game 3 against the Sixers, wearing an unreleased Kobe 4 Protro from the "Draft Day" pack. The full release lands June 26, marking thirty years since Kobe slid to 13th overall. Thirteen colorways, one for every team that passed. The rare playoff PE that comes with a story already attached.
Nike has been giving him their best efforts all year. These were class. And, these are the shoes of the year (at least in my eyes).
