It’s a 3×3 kind of summer 🏀🏀🏀 - the largest urban team sport in the world and a dynamic version of our game. A new Olympic Sport in 2020, it’s grown quickly in popularity in recent years, in some places as a great summertime alternative to the more formal indoor runs.
What’s driving the growth, you might ask?
It’s easy to get a game ⛹🏿♂️ ⛹🏽 ⛹🏽 you need half as much space and about half as many players - find a park, get some friends and start ballin’.
Speed🔥 the official FIBA 3×3 format is super fast. The transition from a made basket to defending happens instantly, so there’s not much time to catch your breath.
Community😎 street ball roots of 3×3 resonate with a lot of players, creating a culture that values creativity, friendly competition, and a bit of fun.
It’s 1’s 🏀 and 2’s 🏀🏀 to 21 or whoever has the most points after 10 minutes. Lets go! 🚀
Player Spotlight
The largest 3×3 tournament in the world deserves a shout out. Aaron Antoine ⛹🏼♂️ of the NW Warriors Elite was the top scorer 🔝 in the Elite Under 6 Foot division and put up some incredible numbers 🔥🔥🔥.

Sure, the USA 🇺🇸 teams are likely going to be dominant in 5’s. Lebron + Steph?🤪
3×3 may very well be more entertaining (or at least competitive). And, the US Men’s team is led by Jimmer Fredette! Remember him tearing up the nets 🔥 in March at BYU! Zag fans are still trying to forget this one.

 France’s Laetitia Guapo Laetitia Guapo 🇫🇷 is often referred to as the "Queen of 3x3," is a force to be reckoned with; inspiring a new generation of female players. |  USA’s Kareem Maddox Kareem Maddox🇺🇸 is a former Ivy League standout and has adapted seamlessly into 3x3 basketball, leading Team USA since 2015. |

Spokane Hoopfest is a Beacon for 3×3 Worldwide
We put our tech to test a couple weeks ago in Spokane, Washington for the world’s largest 3×3 tournament. Armed with a camera from our friends at Save My Play, we pulled in all of the stats and highlights for the 6 Foot and Under Men’s Elite division.
